No plan to extend ITR filing deadline, income tax portal working smoothly : Revenue Secretary

"Had there been more than 1 crore ITR to be filed there might be a case for extension for ITR filing deadline. So, there is absolutely no proposal to extend the ITR filing date. I hope through this message the other people also file their returns," said Bajaj.
